Nice Effort with Your Development and Preplanning

Nice Effort with Your Development and Preplanning

It's clear to see that you've spend some time in development and preproduction writing your script and planning out how you're going to execute on that plan. I liked your added sound effects and I like the use of voice over. I could have used a little more responses of the father during the phone call but you started...

A Creative Challenge for You

I've seen your films on each challenge and your films are getting better and better so congratulations. So, I want to give you a challenge. Really plan out each shot even if it's just a shot list so that every shot has a purpose (unlike the first shot that pans over to towards the door which doesn't have a whole lot of...

I could have used a little more responses of the father during the phone call but you started to really get those responses in at the end of the call. A very good effort. Keep going with making films.

I See The Creative Cogs Turning

I really like the effort you put into this film. I noticed in the credit that you were listed in all the roles so I applaud you for that dedication. You have some really good signs of potential. I can see that you are adding details: the sound effects, visual effects along with others. One thing you could do a little more of is getting coverage so that when you have a longer conversation you're able to cut between cameras to extend the time or shorten you story. It helps avoid jump cuts.

I've seen your films on each challenge and your films are getting better and better so congratulations. So, I want to give you a challenge. Really plan out each shot even if it's just a shot list so that every shot has a purpose (unlike the first shot that pans over to towards the door which doesn't have a whole lot of purpose) then get more coverage: either set up 2 cameras on each scene or shoot the scene twice from different angles. Last: edit tighter. Trim the heads and tails of each shot.
